Russell Murphy 
Russell Murphy became Chief Executive Officer of Embedio in late 2006 and brings to Embedio over 20 years of experience in early stage, rapidly growing companies.  Mr. Murphy has worked previously as Chief Executive Officer at Lightinguniverse.com (Allied Trade Group) and was the Managing Member of Murcada Ventures LLC, an angel investment fund that has been involved in providing capital and guidance to early stage companies. 

Mr. Murphy holds Bachelor of Arts (Economics), Masters in Business Administration and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Washington, Seattle, USA.

Chris Harano 
Chris Harano has been serving on the Board of Directors of Embedio since 2005.  Mr. Harano is the Chief Financial Officer of Day Holding AG, a public traded company company on the Swiss stock exchange, where his responsibilities also include Corporate Development and Financial and Strategic Planning. He has previously served in an interim-CFO and financial advisor capacity to various Internet-related ventures. Early in his career, Mr. Harano was a Director in the Financial Advisory Services practice of Price Waterhouse.

Mr. Harano holds an M.S. degree from the Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1994), a B.A. degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (1986), and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Rajiv Desai 
Rajiv Desai is the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Embedio and is responsible for leading the technological direction of the company.  Before founding Embedio, Dr. Desai also founded and served as CEO of 3Di Systems, a US based Software Services Company with operations in the US, India and Japan. Dr. Desai has managed R&D projects, product development contracts, software services contracts and developed licensing contracts and strategic business partnerships with some of the world’s leading technology companies. 

Prior to becoming a full time entrepreneur, Dr. Desai worked with a group of scientist and engineers at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory who developed a series of microrovers that led to Mars Pathfinder Mission in 1997.  Dr. Desai has received several prestigious recognitions for his leadership in innovation and research including NASA's Exceptional Achievement Medal, JPL Lew Allen Award for Excellence in Research and the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the Indian Institute of Technology.

Dr. Desai holds a Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, a Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Master's in Computer Engineering and PhD. in Computer Science from University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He also holds a MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts, USA.
