Makoto Yoshioka 
Mr. Yoshioka was General Manager of Advanced Systems Development Software Group at Fujitsu Limited when he retired from Fujitsu in 2004. Mr. Yoshioka also played a pivotal roll in standardizing the UDF/SecureUDF file format (ISO 13346) and the development of SGML/XML and related tools and applications, as well as an XML-based digital TV streaming system.  Mr. Yoshioka is a Chairman of SGML Application committee, JEIDA card (PCMCIA) committee, as well as a task group leader for ARIB (XML based broadcast standard). 

Mr. Yoshioka earned his Bachelor's of Science in Electronics (1967) and a Master's of Science in Electronics and Communications (1969) from Tohuku University in Japan.
